Water Hose Meters

Water Hose Meters will now be available for City residents to use to measure the amount of water being used from an outside water hose that is not being ran into the city sewer system. This will give us the ability to create a credit on residents accounts for sewer charges that are not being used. Examples of use: watering flowers or animals and filling swimming pools. A deposit of $40 will be required to receive a water hose meter for a time period of 6 months. For more information, please call City Hall at 417-652-3314 or come in to speak with JoGina or Abby.

Utilities available through the City of Wheaton are Water, Sewer, Natural Gas and Trash.

Utility Rates

Utility Bills will go out on the 1st of each month.

Utility Bills are due on the 15th of each month. Late fees will be accessed if not paid by the morning of the 16th.

Utilities will be shut off if not paid by the 27th of each month. To reinstate shut off utilities, the full bill plus a $50 reconnection fee will be required.
