The Wheaton City Park is a public park. It is open daily 30 minutes after sunrise until 9:00pm, 365 days per year. The use of any public park facilites is on a first come, first serve basis. Anyone wishing to remain in the public park after it is closed will be required to get special permission from the Chief of Police or the City Council. A request form is available at City Hall. Ordinance No. 080322B. 

The Wheaton Community Building may be rented for community use. The Community Building consists of a large, open gathering area with 10 round tables, chairs, a kitchen area, and 2 bathrooms.  A rental agreement form and a damage deposit fee are required to book your event, and the rental fee must be paid before receiving a key to the building. The rental agreement form is available at Wheaton City Hall. Rental prices are as follows:

Damage Deposit Fee $50

Half Day Rental Fee $30

Full Day Rental Fee $60

The Dunk Tank is available to rent for public and private events. A dunk tank rental agreement form, damage deposit fee, and rental fee are required to book the dunk tank. The dunk tank rental agreement form is available at Wheaton City Hall or the Wheaton Police Department. Rental prices are as follows:

Rental Fee $100 per day
